DO I HAVE A REASON TO BE THANKFUL THIS YEAR?

Hey guys! welcome back to my blog, i know its been a while since i have posted, please forgive me, i promise to do better.

I have thought about this year a lot and what it has offered me and i always come up with the same question, should i still be thankful?

I have been through a lot to be honest, from experiencing disappointment, to betrayals, feelings, loss and the most popular one, money! this year has been an eye opener for me because of all this situations ehn! for example, early this year i set goals that before the year runs out, i was going to sign a few deals. Now, i know that there is a fault on my side for not trying to work hard towards that goal but it’s still sad to see that its December and nothing showed.

A lot of us had expectations for what this year should be, just to find out that it didn’t work out. some of you lost someone dear this year, while others lost their jobs or couldn’t pay your bills this year and so much more, all this still make you wonder if you should still be thankful for coming this far. well here is what i think:

i know that i had a lot of cons this year but that didn’t mean there were no pros;

  1. first of all, i am alive.
  2. yes! i fell sick often this year but i came out healthy
  3. I almost thought that i wasn’t going to finish school with my mates this year because of some issues early session but at the end of the day, God came through for me and i am in the second phase of my final year ( gist is coming soon)
  4. I didn’t sign a few deals but am grateful for all of you that take out time to read my blog.
  5. My wonderful friends and family that support me each and every day. this year made me realize who my real friends were and how lucky i am to have them

And so many more reasons to be thankful for, so before you say this year was a waste of time , why don’t you think about those things that you are grateful to have because others might not be so lucky to have them and be thankful. so what if this year didn’t turn out as you wanted, at least you have a chance to make next year better, Just have faith.
